A tour of the platform
The two modules, the sidebar, the active client selector and the quick search: everything you need to find your way around.
Two modules, one account
- TeeTax: year-end financial statement preparation (CSRS 4200 compilation engagements): trial balance import, adjusting entries, notes, professional PDF.
- TeeBooks: day-to-day bookkeeping: bank transactions, invoices, GST/QST returns, reconciliations, reports.
You move between them through the sidebar: the Accounting entry opens TeeBooks, and the back button in TeeBooks returns to TeeTax. Both modules share the same client list.
The active client and fiscal year
Almost every page works on an active client and a fiscal year. You pick them in the header: first the client, then the year if the client has more than one. If a page looks empty, check those two selectors first.
Quick search
Press Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on Mac) to open the search palette: clients, pages and actions are all reachable from the keyboard, anywhere in the application.
The interface language (French or English) can be changed at any time in Settings.
